CONSUMER'S COMMENT I have been thinking for a long time of putting into writing my opinion on various articles of dog equipment that I have bought in the past, describing the item, and explainingh how useful (or not) I found it to be. These, of course, are just my thoughts, but since I am often asked by people what to buy when purchasing their puppy, it might help in making a decision as to whether it is worth purchasing such items - are they a must have or a white elephant! I would love to have other's input as to how useful they found the same or similar item, eventually building a volume of ever changing information, also where to find certain items - as maybe this is only my experience but some of the so called pet stores do not seem to stock anything that I need. Maybe I am not the normal consumer for dog products, but on every occasion I have visited these places and asked a member of staff for something I consider many people would use, I am told there is no call for it. I have mentioned that since I have asked, there must be! I will start on the light side, with a gadget that was demonstrated to Mick and I at a trade stand in Crufts three years ago. We never actually purchased this, but ridiculous as it now seems, we were nearly swept up in the heat of the moment, putting our hands into our pockets, then thank goodness making the decision to think about it............. |
